Project Description
This wooden, innovative and sustainably built residential tower is 73 meters high, has 52 apartments spread over 21 floors and has a commercial plinth of 800m2. It is one of the largest hybrid structures in the world. The tower is located in Amsterdam, conveniently located on the river Amstel and close to public transport and Park Somerlust.
The building is not only sustainable because of the use of wood and anodized aluminium, but also the solar panels on both the facade and the roof contribute to this. It is not for nothing that this building has received the BREEAM Outstanding certificate. The more than 6,000 m2 profiles in this building have been anodized by Alumet in the colour AluBlack.
HAUT has won several awards, including the 2022 National Timber Award and the 2018 international BREEAM Award, Homes.
