    10. Alumet anodizing process EPD.pdf

Anodizing is a transformative process that enhances aluminum's natural durability and beauty, creating a corrosion-resistant and aesthetically appealing surface through an electrochemical procedure.

Chemical pre-treatment of aluminum involves cleaning, matte etching, and chemical brightening to prepare surfaces for anodizing or painting. Cleaning with soap removes dirt and oil, matte etching creates a silky surface, and chemical brightening adds luster. Wastewater is neutralized, and by-products are reused in other industries. This process ensures the aluminum's longevity, aesthetic appeal, and high-quality, durable finishes.

Coding Layer Thickness
A20 20 micron Outdoor use (standard outdoor use)
