Project Description
Schoorl is located at the foot of one of the most beautiful dune areas of the country, a surreal dune landscape of peace, views & nature. A dark silhouettte arose amid this landscape, a modern interpretation of a barn as a farmhouse. The volumes play a game on the outside with the envelope of the main mass, this gives an impressive sculptural image. The materialisation principle on the outside is based on an anthracite metal finish, a combination of a profiled anodised aluminium facade and roof panel and a front facade with a solid steel skin.
