Project Description

This office building is part of Plaza Arena, an office building complex in Amsterdam South-East. It is located near the Amsterdam Arena, Amsterdam’s main football stadium, whose surroundings have become a lively neighbourhood for business and commerce. Each of the buildings in Plaza Arena has got a name that references to a historical figure, like ‘Minerva’ and ‘Dali’; this building is called ‘Gaudi’. The 5500 square metre façade has been realised in anodised aluminium. To accentuate the vertical joints, slightly protruding shade bars have been placed vertically on the façade
