Profilox
anodized aluminium profiles

Anodized aluminum reimagined for
remarkable interior and exterior design

Profilox

Profilox® is an architectural system of anodized aluminium wall profiles for façade cladding and interior applications. Choose from standard extruded shapes or develop a custom profile in Alumet colours and finishes.

What are Profilox® anodized aluminium wall profiles?

What are Profilox® anodized aluminium wall profiles?

Profilox® is a collection of anodized aluminium profiles designed for refined architectural detailing. The profiles combine clean installation, strong material performance and the visual depth of Alumet’s anodized finishes.

Available in six standard profile shapes, Profilox® makes it easier to specify anodized aluminium profiles for walls, façades, interiors and architectural transitions.

Architectural aluminium profiles developed with ASAS

Profilox® is developed in collaboration with ASAS, a leading specialist in aluminium profiles. This partnership allows us to combine Alumet’s expertise in anodizing and surface finishing with ASAS’ knowledge of profile design, extrusion and practical installation.

Together, we offer a standard set of accessible aluminium profiles that can be finished in different Alumet colours and surface treatments. Custom anodized aluminium profiles are also possible, although these require additional development and tooling costs.

Explore architectural aluminium wall profiles in linear, angular, curved and sculptural shapes. Each extruded profile can be combined with Alumet anodized colours and surface finishes to create distinctive façade and interior designs.

Standard extruded aluminium wall profile range

  • SP22T01
    SP22T01

A faceted profile with sharp angled transitions, designed to create strong shadow lines and a clear architectural rhythm. Its folded shape gives flat surfaces more depth without becoming overly decorative.

  • SP22T02
    SP22T02

A soft wave profile with a rounded, flowing surface. This option is ideal for projects that need a more organic expression while keeping the durability and precision of anodized aluminium.

  • SP22T03
    SP22T03

A clean slanted profile with a subtle angled face. This profile creates a calm directional effect and works well when the design needs depth, but still needs to remain minimal.

  • SP22T04
    SP22T04

A tall, straight profile with a restrained geometric shape. Its clean vertical surface makes it suitable for projects where the profile should support the design rather than dominate it.

  • SP22T05
    SP22T05

A stepped linear profile with deeper geometric transitions. This option creates stronger shadow effects and gives the surface a more technical, architectural character.

  • SP22T16
    SP22T16

A curved profile with a soft sculptural movement. The shape creates a flowing light effect across the surface, making it suitable for feature walls, façade details and expressive interior applications.

  • SP22T17
    SP22T17

A textured profile with a stepped, pixel-like surface. This option adds a more tactile and graphic appearance, especially when combined with matt or ultra-matt anodized finishes.

  • SP22T18
    SP22T18

A wide wave profile with a smooth flowing line. Its larger curved movement creates a soft and elegant surface effect, ideal for designs that need subtle depth and a refined visual rhythm.

  • SP22T19
    SP22T19

A rounded profile with repeated soft curves. This profile creates a consistent wave pattern and adds gentle movement to walls, façades and interior surfaces.

  • SP22T20
    SP22T20

A minimal flat profile with a clean straight surface. This is the most restrained option in the range and works well when the anodized finish itself needs to be the main visual feature.

  • SP22T21
    SP22T21

An angular profile with a central folded geometry. The sharp transitions create a stronger play of light and shadow, giving the surface a more pronounced architectural expression.

  • SP22T22
    SP22T22

A larger curved profile with a deeper sculptural form. This option creates a bold wave effect and is especially suited for projects where the aluminium profile becomes a defining design element.

Custom anodized profiles

Custom extruded aluminium profiles can be developed for projects that require a unique façade shape, wall pattern or architectural detail.

Custom anodized wall profiles

For projects that require a unique shape, custom aluminium profiles can be developed and anodized. This opens up new design possibilities for façades, interiors and architectural systems.

Custom profiles require additional engineering, extrusion tooling and development costs. For this reason, our six standard Profilox® options are the most accessible choice for projects that need high-quality anodized aluminium profiles with shorter lead times.

High-quality extruded profiles, refined by anodizing

Profilox® brings together two areas of expertise: the profile quality of ASAS and the anodizing and finishing quality of Alumet.

This allows architects, designers and builders to work with aluminium profiles that are easy to install, consistent in quality and available in a wide range of anodized colours and finishes. The result is a profile system that supports both technical performance and architectural expression.

Ultra matt E10 profiles with a ceramic-like finish

One of the most distinctive combinations within Profilox® is the use of our ultra-matt finish on aluminium profiles. This finish creates an almost terracotta or ceramic-like appearance, while keeping the strength, precision and recyclability of anodized aluminium.

Ultra-matt also helps to significantly reduce the visibility of extrusion lines, creating a softer and more uniform surface. This makes it especially suitable for profiles where texture, light reflection and close-up detail are important.

Ceramic or terracotta façades

  1. Heavy, with a higher structural load
  2. Fragile and vulnerable to cracking or breakage
  3. Limited in panel size and continuous lengths
  4. More demanding to transport and install
  5. Limited freedom in complex profile shapes
  6. More difficult to achieve a consistent surface across complex forms

Profilox® with Ultra-Matt E10

  • Lightweight, with a lower structural load
  • Impact-resistant and safe to handle
  • Long extruded profiles for continuous façade lines
  • Easier and safer to transport and install
  • Multiple profile shapes for depth, rhythm and design freedom
  • Uniform Ultra-Matt E10 appearance across profiles and shapes

Combine with our finishes

  • Matt etching (E6)

Creates a subtle, satin finish that diffuses reflections
and enhances the natural depth of aluminum.

  • Brushing (E2)

Applies a fine linear texture that gives aluminum a distinctive, stainless-steel appearance with modern appeal.

  • Brightening (E7)

Produces a high-gloss, reflective finish that highlights
    aluminum’s brilliance and visual purity.

  • Ultra Matt (E10)

Ultra-matt shotblasting produces a deeply matt, tactile surface by uniformly impacting the aluminum with fine media. The result is a low-reflection finish with a soft, mineral-like character.

  • Polishing (E8)

Polishing further refines the surface to achieve a near-mirror finish. This process maximizes reflectivity and creates a crisp, high-gloss appearance that interacts strongly with light and surroundings.
