Gelders Archief

Project Description

In mid-June, the Gelders Archive moved to the Westervoortsedijk. City and landscape meet at this new location. The immediate vicinity is an industrial urban area. The Gelders Archive therefore functions as a first catalyst that contributes to a total upgrading of the environment. The photos below show the striking facade cladding of the building. On the first to fifth floors, it consists of a skin of anodized aluminum panels, in three different shades of champagne and bronze. The transparent public space, with a reception hall, a reading room and a multifunctional space, is located on the ground floor.
